Dietenheim is a part of the town Bruneck. Because of its sunny location Dietenheim is climatically very encouraged and is therefore called the „Riviera of the Pustertal“.
In old times some citizen families of Bruneck had their summer residence in Dietenheim. This is shown by several noble residences.

The lovely parish church is consecrated to holy Jake the Older.

Dietenheim became well known with the establishment of the folklore museum. A noble residence, imposing farms and smaller farm-steads show a time, which is long gone.

Dietenheim is not far away from the town Bruneck. It´s very suitable as holiday place because of its central location.
In the North of Dietenheim there are the steep mountains of the Riesenferner Group and the Alps of the Zillertal, in the South there are the light rocks of the mighty Dolomites. The hearts of hikers and climbers will beat higher at the view of these impressing mountain massifs.

Only 4 kilometers from Dietenheim there is the Kronplatz, the biggest skiing mountain of South Tirol. He offers, with more than 105 kilometers best prepared pistes, skiing pleasure for beginners and advancers. Dietenheim ist an ideal starting point to get to know geographically and cultural the green Pustertal with its unique beauty spot, its impressing villages and buildings. The immediate proximity to the Kronplatz, to perfect tracked cross country ski runs, to toboggan runs, to swimming pools and to a swimming lake offers you great sport and free time pleasure.
